Paying legal fees and costs can sometimes be difficult for a whole variety of reasons, especially if the attorney requires an upfront deposit or retainer. Solutions can sometimes be found for these types of problems. For example, if we ask for a deposit or a retainer ask us, it can be paid in installments. We generally try to work something out if finances are an issue for the client. The same is true in those cases where our fee agreement with the client states that we will bill the client monthly. Again, although we cannot always do so, we try to work with clients on fee payment issues.
If, for example, you cannot afford to pay our attorney’s fees or any required deposit, retainer, or any other cost or expense of litigation (such as for expert witnesses or court reporters or for a variety of other costs and expenses) then the information on this page may be very helpful to you and provide you with a possible source of funds to pay our fees and these types of costs and expenses.
