LET’S BE CLEAR.

ALL CLIENTS ARE GOOD CLIENTS !

We just so happen to call the fee schedule below “the Good Client Fee Schedule”

IF, HOWEVER, THE RATES ON THIS PAGE DO NOT APPLY TO YOUR SITUATION

PLEASE CHECK SOME OF THE OTHER PAGES ON THIS WEBSITE

FOR OTHER SPECIAL AND AFFORDABLE LEGAL FEES!

Why are the rates on this page special?

Our  “STANDARD HOURLY RATE”  IS

$240 PER HOUR.

for each and every hour that we spend on a client’s legal matter.

HOWEVER:

GOOD CLIENT FEE SCHEDULE

If you have significant legal needs, our hourly rates

can go as low as………… $120 per hour

if you qualify.

( Generally, , unless it is an “Excluded Matter” (see bottom of page), any client can qualify for this reduced good client rate.  Note: Please ALSO check OTHER pages on this website for other very favorable “special fees and rates” that may apply to you if you do not qualify for the Good Client rates below.).

Unless, otherwise agreed in writing or it is an otherwise “Excluded Matter” as defined at the bottom of this page,

The client is always responsible for paying fees, costs and expenses charged by third parties such as court reporters, investigators, process servers, as well as all travel, lodging, parking, tolls and third-party copying charges.

Effective SEPEMBER 1, 2024 for “new” clients only, the following Good Client Fee Schedule shall be in effect for clients who qualify.

If you want to learn more about us there is a VIDEO about us at the bottom of this page.

GOOD CLIENT FEE RATES

Below is our Good Client Fee Schedule for “Qualifying Clients” meeting the “Qualifying Amount” requirements. The Client’s bill depends on how much time we spend on the Client’s legal matter during that month, with the rate beginning at $90 per hour then increasing to our standard rate but eventually decreasing back to the $75 figure as more legal services are used.  This is a cap on the number of hours in any  month that the low  rates apply.

IMPORTANT:  Clients are only billed if they actually use the attorney’s services.  The rates on this schedule start anew (all over again) at the beginning of each monthly billing cycle from zero hours used.  Then the bill for that month  is calculated starting all over again in accordance with how much attorney time is actually dedicated to the client’s legal matter in that billing month again in accordance with the following schedule):

Schedule of Hourly Rates for legal work done each month  (changes as follows):

For 1st  hour  x  $120/hr =  $  120   if all 1 hour of attorney time is used

Next  4 hours x $240/hr =        $ 960  if all that 2 hours of attorney time is used

Next  5 hours x $180/hr =     $ 900 if all that 5 hours of attorney time is used

In short, if all 10 hours are used in that month the total fee is $1,980.00

and the average hourly rate is $198 per hour for that 10 hours

But importantly,, thereafter

the “Excess” Hourly Rate is only $120 per hour  for

for the hours the client needs in excess of 10 hours for that month.

HOWEVER

if a client requires more than 40 hours of legal services in any monthly billing cycle

then, we bill at our STANDARD HOURLY RATE (see top of this page)

for all of those hours in excess of 40 that are billed at the above special rates.

Qualifying Clients:   Clients  who qualify for the Good Client Fee Schedule are those who satisfy EITHER (a) or (b)  below:

  • (a) The client must have met both of the following conditions: (i) Have paid each and every legal bill submitted to the Client within 21 days of presentation of invoice for the previous 3 months; and (ii) have paid over the immediately preceding 3 month period legal fees totaling at least $1500 during that period ($500/month average for 3 months); OR
  • (b) Be a client who at all times maintains a deposit in the “Qualifying Amount” (defined below) with the Attorney. Said deposit shall be placed in the Attorney’s Client Trust Account and used  solely to secure the payment of our anticipated future attorney’s fees and it shall not secure the payment of the costs and expenses charged by third parties.  [Note: If we ever draw upon said deposit to pay our attorney’s fees, then in order to remain a Qualified Client, the client must, within 21 days of the creation of any deficiency in the remaining deposited moneys in said Trust Account  deposit additional funds so that the balance of the escrowed deposit is restored back to at least the Qualifying Amount as set forth below.

The “Qualifying Amount” in (b) above (as defined herein) currently is…………. $ 1,000.00.

All clients are eligible to be a Qualifying Client in any particular billing month depending on whether they satisfy the foregoing criteria during the billing month in question. “Excluded Matters” are treated totally separately and fees paid on “Excluded Matters” do not count towards the calculation of whether a client has paid the Qualifying Amount in order to be or remain a Qualifying Client for that period.  Clients who are or become Qualifying Clients may lose their status as Qualifying Clients if during any billing period they do not meet the criteria of being a Qualifying Client.

EXCEPTIONS:

The Good Client Fee Schedule and rates on this page generally do NOT apply to the following types of legal matters and cases, which we refer to as “Excluded Matters”: (1.) criminal and traffic cases (see elsewhere on this site for rate specials for these types of cases); (2) plaintiff’s personal injury  and products liability cases (these are normally “contingent fee” cases; (3.) bankruptcy cases where we represent the debtor (however, clients who are creditors are eligible for this program);  and (4) any case where an agreement has been signed by us to charge fees on a different basis.]  However, if a client has other legal needs as well some of the above may be includable in this program; please just ask us.
